Residents of Nike Road in Enugu were thrown into panic after a mysterious man, believed by some locals to have died more than 10 years ago, was allegedly seen buying food from a roadside vendor.

According to the account, the man was once a resident of Owerri before news of his death spread years earlier. Witnesses claimed they became suspicious after noticing a strange odor surrounding him, which they described as resembling dried stockfish. Some people reportedly stared in disbelief, while others fled the scene in fear.

The food vendor allegedly recognized the man and dropped her serving spoon in shock, insisting she had attended his funeral many years ago. Within minutes, a crowd gathered, with some recording videos while others whispered that they were witnessing a supernatural event.

As the story spread across the neighborhood, rumors quickly began circulating that the mysterious man disappeared without a trace before anyone could question him. Some residents claimed it was a ghost, while others believed it was simply someone who looked remarkably like the deceased.
