Tension grips Sokoto Prison after several inmates allegedly listened to a speech attributed to Nnamdi Kanu. Inspired by his message, some prisoners begin calling for his immediate release, claiming they had been misled about him and the Igbo people for years.
“If what I’m hearing truly represents what Nnamdi Kanu stands for, then he has no business being here,” one inmate, identified as Musa, shouts from the back of the prison hall.
Another inmate, Abubakar, says, “We were told many things about the Igbo people that don’t match what I’ve heard today. If this message is genuine, then justice should be served fairly.”
